World traveler settles into new lifestyle and dream home at One Las Vegas

Rimonda Miara, former model and fashion aficionado, was born and raised in Israel, and traveled the world working in the fashion industry before settling in New York City in the 1980s to raise a family. Today this worldly sophisticate officially planted roots as a new resident at One Las Vegas, a twin-tower, high-rise condominium community located on the south end of Las Vegas Boulevard.

“I eventually moved back to Israel in 2000, but when my two sons decided to attend college in the United States, I was inclined to return, so I moved to Los Angeles last year,” Miara said. “I never felt a connection to the city and couldn’t convince myself that the high cost of owning a home there was worth it.

I visited a good friend who lived in Lake Las Vegas and, although the community was lovely, it was too far from everything I wanted. During my second trip, I visited One Las Vegas, and the rest, as they say, is history.”

Miara, who has lived in many luxury high-rise communities, was immediately taken with One Las Vegas’ resort-style resident amenities and floor plans that include breathtaking views. With destinations such as Town Square, the Strip and downtown Las Vegas just a short drive away, the location was ideal since she appreciates the city’s vibrancy and all its world-class offerings. Miara also was pleased with the spacious floor plans at One Las Vegas and the community’s value pricing, a refreshing and stark contrast to Los Angeles.

“I have a huge balcony that lets me take in views of the Strip and the mountains,” Miara said. “My one-bedroom floor plan provides me with all the space I need and more.

The staff and my neighbors are so approachable and kind, a nice change from many cities I’ve lived in that weren’t always the most welcoming. And as someone who likes to stay active, amenities like Splash, the 24-hour resort-style pool, and Transform, the two-story state-of-the-art fitness center, are added bonuses to my new life at One Las Vegas!”

Homes at One Las Vegas range from 831 to 2,857 square feet, with many floor plans offering spectacular views of both the mountains and the Strip. One-bedroom homes are priced from the low $200,000s; two-bedroom homes from the high $200s; and three-bedroom homes from the low $400,000s.

The penthouse, offering 3,000 square feet of sweeping views, is priced at $1.1 million – a “virtual steal” relative to other Las Vegas penthouses of similar size. One Las Vegas is also VA home loan approved and offers mortgages with as little as 10 percent down.

One Las Vegas is located conveniently close to Interstate-15, the 215 Beltway and minutes from McCarran International Airport. Town Square, a few blocks north of the property, provides one-stop shopping, and scores of dining and entertainment options right in the neighborhood.

For more information, visit the One Las Vegas on-site sales center at 8255 Las Vegas Blvd. S., the website at theonelv.com or call 702-405-9020. The sales center is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
