Frankie Edgar, a former UFC lightweight champion, defeated Jeremy Stephens at UFC 205. Following the win, he said he’d like to fight at UFC 209 in Brooklyn next.

Edgar also talked about the possibility of Conor McGregor defeating his teammate Eddie Alvarez. Edgar said if McGregor holds two belts, he should have to defend the featherweight title first.

The UFC’s contract with ESPN expires Dec. 31 — the final ESPN card was Saturday — marking the end of the MMA company’s pay-per-view era. The UFC will move to Paramount+ in January.
