Coroner identifies Henderson motorcyclist killed in crash

The 23-year-old motorcyclist who died in a crash in Henderson Friday night was identified Saturday by the Clark County coroner’s office.

He was Jesus Munguia, of Henderson.

Henderson police responded about 5:45 p.m. to the crash on East Sunset Road, near Boulder Highway.

Munguia missed a curve, hit a center median, lost control of the motorcycle, was thrown from the bike and hit a light pole, police said Friday. He died at the scene.

High speed and reckless driving appear to have been factors in the crash, police said.
