Second Pinches Tacos offers funky vibe

PINCHES TACOS, THE GRAMMERCY, 9205 W. RUSSELL ROAD
Pinches, whose first Las Vegas location was a tiny spot in the Downtown Container Park, added its second local restaurant around the beginning of the year (the company, which is based in West Hollywood, also has four Southern California restaurants). The Grammercy location, which is far larger than the downtown one, has a funky vibe with booths made from the back seats of junked Oldsmobiles, a functioning stoplight on the bar and an ordering window in a food truck — inside the restaurant. There's a family feel, down to the cocktails named after family members and a strong family presence in management. Here's a sample of the menu:
Breakfast: Chilaquiles, $8.95; breakfast burrito, $7.50; huevos rancheros, $9.95; breakfast sandwich, $7.50.
Tacos: Chicken with Oaxacan mole, $2.70; asada, $3.15; carnitas, $2.70; nopal, $2; any three tacos plus rice, beans and chips, $9.50.
Burritos (with beans and rice): Asada, $9.95; shrimp with Veracruz coleslaw, $9.95; fish with Veracruz coleslaw, $9.95; vegetable, $8.25.
Tortas: Asada, $9.95; fish with Veracruz coleslaw, $9.95; al pastor, $8.95; vegetable, $8.50.
Enchiladas (three, with beans and rice): Oaxacan cheese, $8.95; chicken, $9.95; fried shrimp, $10.95.
