Police seize over 800 pounds of pot from home in northwest Las Vegas

Las Vegas police said they seized over 800 pounds of marijuana from a home in the northwest Las Vegas Valley on Wednesday.

Metro’s narcotics unit executed a search warrant on an illegal marijuana growing operation in the 4000 block of Sea Hero Street, near North Tenaya Way and West Alexander Road, according to a Thursday post on the Metropolitan Police Department’s X account.

About 814 pounds of marijuana were seized by police during the execution of a search warrant, police said.

On May 28, 2025, LVMPD Narcotics executed a search warrant on an illegal marijuana growing operation in the 4000 block of Sea Hero St. During the execution of the search warrant approximately 814 lbs. of marijuana was recovered.

“This extensive marijuana grow operation was dismantled and the investigation is still ongoing,” said the post.
