Police find 2 dead in Las Vegas home

A man and woman were found dead in a south valley home Tuesday night, Las Vegas police said.
Police went to Plaza Del Padre, near Sahara Avenue and Valley View Boulevard, around 7:15 p.m. for a welfare check because a woman hadn’t shown up for work.
Responding officers found the bodies. The investigation was still ongoing as of 9 p.m., but police believe that the man had cancer and may have shot himself. The woman had apparently been shot as well.
