Kid saves 10-year-old neighbor from being abducted

A 10-year-old Chicago girl is safe after an attempted abduction thanks to the quick actions of her 6-year-old neighbor.

According to ABC7 Chicago, Kaylen Woodard, 6, was riding his bike on the sidewalk in front of his home on Thursday with his neighbor Marcy Jones, 10, who was riding her scooter, when a man got out of a car and tried to grab her.

“He tried to hold her mouth,” Kaylen told ABC7 Chicago. “The only way she got away is because I kicked him in the back of the leg and I kicked him in both sides of the legs.”

Police are still looking for the man.
