The seventh annual Jam at the Barn is planned from 2 to 6 p.m. June 29 and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. June 30 at 1 Village Way in Blue Diamond. Workshops and lessons from various artists are scheduled for June 29 with a dinner break and music in the park. Donations are accepted. Local and touring performers are set to play June 30. WORTH A DRIVE

The Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort, 6725 Lee Canyon Road, is scheduled to be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Fridays through Sundays until Sept. 2. Free lawn games, hiking and mountain biking. Chairlift rides are $10, and disc golf is $17. Camping also is available.
