‘Hangover’ actors pop in at Uncork’d

A ravenous Wolfpack — the nickname of the male cast members of “The Hangover 3” — made a surprise appearance Friday at Vegas Uncork’d by Bon Appetit.

Bradley Cooper, Ken Jeong and Justin Bartha were accompanied by Heather Graham and director Todd Phillips as they grazed their way through the Grand Tasting, which was held at the Garden of the Gods pool.

They teased their appearance late Friday by tweeting an image of the group inside an unidentified room, asking “Any guesses on the Wolfpack’s whereabouts?”

Wonder if Graham considered bringing a food taster after her recent ditzy putdowns of Las Vegas?

She told the British edition of OK magazine that Las Vegas “people seem phony.”

“They’re spending all their money and it’s sad. And it’s also so cold with this permanent air conditioning everywhere. I’m more the person who wants to be outside and look at a tree. I don’t want to look at a machine.”

SARKOZY’S SPECIAL REQUEST

Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy had a special dining request when he sat down Thursday with iconic restaurateur Sirio Maccioni at Le Cirque, along restaurant row at Bellagio.

Sarkozy asked if he could order from Le Cirque’s sister restaurant, Circo del Osteria.

Maccioni, 81, agreed in a New York minute.

So Sarkozy, a fan of Circo in New York City, ordered a pizza and the veal piccata.

He was in town, reportedly with his wife, Carla Bruni, to speak at the SkyBridge Alternatives (SALT) Conference at Bellagio.

Sarkozy, who was French president from 2007 to 2012, was spotted jogging during his stay in Las Vegas.

First lady Nancy Reagan was a regular at Le Cirque in New York City for many years.

The Maccionis found out how deep her loyalty to the family was in 1984 when Mario Maccioni, then 20, suffered a serious health scare. He was rushed to a hospital with a collapsed lung while a member of the New York University swim team.

“Nancy (then first lady) came to see me in the hospital,” said Mario, who runs the Maccionis’ restaurants in Las Vegas, including Le Cirque and Circo and Sirio Ristorante at Aria.

She was a very good friend of the family, he said. “She did every birthday at our place, hers and her friends.”

Sirio and Ronald Reagan had the same doctor.

ELTON BOOSTS YOUNG BAND

Elton John, a critic of talent shows like “American Idol” and “X Factor,” has been busy boosting aspiring musicians in his own way.

His latest find was front and center at his show Saturday night at the Colosseum inside Caesars Palace.

John reportedly spotted the Los Angeles-based group, which includes two Las Vegans, on YouTube.com. John arranged for them to see his show and meet with him backstage.

AfteRomeo is in town to do a week of free school shows, which began Saturday with a concert at the Boys and Girls Club for the annual Girls Day Out.

The Las Vegans are Jayk Purdy and Drew Ryan Scott.

When John criticized Simon Cowell’s “X Factor,” calling it “mind crippling,” Cowell responded by challenging the six-time Grammy winner to “nurture” young talent with proceeds from his $1 million gigs.

“Go and spend some time looking after them,” Cowell said. “Then I’ll buy your argument.”

Last month, Grammy-nominated British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran performed at the Garden of the Gods for the Nobu Hotel’s grand opening after John performed with Sheeran, 21, at the Grammys in February.
