Henderson Hyundai customers help mark dealership’s 10th anniversary

Henderson Hyundai marked its 10th anniversary recently and several people were awarded cash or prizes during the celebration.

Jo Simmons was the first-place winner of $10,000 toward the purchase of a new Hyundai.

Scott Kent won a 60-inch flat-screen television and Sarah Parmeland won a round-trip ticket to anywhere in the continental United States.

Several other winners received items such as Nexus tablets, meals, auto parts, auto window tinting, accessories and gasoline.

Henderson Hyundai, at 460 N. Boulder Highway, was named the No. 1 Hyundai dealer in Nevada, with a 20 percent increase in 2012 sales versus 2011.

“The increased sales in 2012 indicate that the economy is certainly pulling out of its recession,” said Kip Fluth, general manager.

Cole Cloninger, Internet director, said the climbing sales are based on several other factors, too.
