Ready to share your ‘Dadisms’?

We love Dad. And, even these many years later, we have to admit that we've finally come to love his, for lack of a better word, "Dadisms," too.

The advice he gave us and the wisdom he shared. The sayings and corny aphorisms he'd pull out at opportune moments to make a point. The stories of "when I was a kid" that he'd tell over and over and over again. The things he'd say to our friends that made us cringe in embarrassment (although, we now can admit, they made us laugh, too). The goofy little habits he'd have that drove us crazy as kids but that, we admit, we now miss terribly.

With Father's Day approaching, we thought it would be fun to ask you, our readers, to share stories about your favorite true-life Dadisms, be they touching, funny or actually useful. Just jot down your own Dadism stories (200 words max) and send them to: Dadisms, Las Vegas Review-Journal Features Department, P.O. Box 70, Las Vegas, NV 89125-0070. Or, email them to jprzybys@review
journal.com (be sure to write "Dadisms" in the subject line).

Either way, get them to us by 5 p.m. June 4 and we'll share some of the best in our Father's Day Living section.
