Water Cooler, Feb. 19

Here are a few things in news, sports, entertainment and pop culture that we've been talking about lately.

■ Nevada updates the virtual edition of 260 historic markers across the state, in part to correct factual errors. Among them: Elvis Presley never was Nevada's governor, "Las Vegas" is not Spanish for "shrimp cocktail" and Cylons were not the Las Vegas Valley's original inhabitants.

■ The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement -- aka the Las Vegas Mob Museum -- officially opens. Nice, but, for some reason, the opening day admission till seemed a little light.

■ A Wisconsin woman wins the National Grocers Association's Best Bagger Championship at The Mirage. Bookmakers put the over-under at three tangelos, a tube of Jimmy Dean sausage and a box of Pampers.
