Valley Outreach Synagogue -- P'nai Tikvah will offer its annual women's retreat with Rabbis Yocheved Mintz and Diane Elliot Aug. 12-14 in Cedar Breaks, Utah. For reservations, call 436-4900.

The Word Alive Church Inc., 2412 Tam Drive, will serve meals to children free of charge as part of the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be served through Aug. 27 on the following days and times: breakfast, 9-10 a.m. Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays; lunch, noon-1 p.m. Sundays and Tuesdays; and supper, 5-6 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays (684-5866).

Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 6670 W. Cheyenne Ave., will offer a music camp for children entering kindergarten through fifth grade 1-4 p.m. Monday through Friday . The youngsters will present a musical program on the last day of camp. The cost is $20. Call 645-1777 for information and registration.

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will host "Camp Hope," a Christian day camp for kindergartners through sixth-graders, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday . To register, call 732-2052.

Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 6220 N. Jones Blvd., will offer "Rumble in the Jungle" vacation Bible school 4:30-8:30 p.m. Aug. 8-12. For registration and information, call 645-4998.

Singles groups

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church has a singles luncheon for ages 60 and older the first Tuesday of the month at 4:30 p.m. at Black Mountain Grill, 11021 S. Eastern Ave., Henderson (796-1953).

New Life Christian Center has a singles meeting at 7 p.m. the second Friday of the month at 1229 E. Carson Ave. (387-5433).
