Microsoft Corp. CEO Steve Ballmer will again be the opening act when the International Consumer Electronics Show returns to Las Vegas.

The Consumer Electronics Association said Thursday that Ballmer will be giving the keynote address at The Venetian on Jan. 9, the night before the show officially opens.
