Coroner’s office identifies pedestrian hit by vehicle

A 66-year-old woman who died after she was struck by a vehicle last week was identified Monday by the Clark County coroner's office as Patsy Sanchez, of Las Vegas.

Las Vegas police said Sanchez was attempting to cross to the south side of Flamingo Road near Pearl Street on Jan. 3 when she was hit by a 2006 Dodge Durango driven by Arch Doran, 49, of Las Vegas.

Sanchez was not in a marked crosswalk, police said.

She was pronounced dead at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
