A fire damaged 12 apartments Sunday afternoon near Nellis Boulevard and Stewart Avenue, a Clark County official said.
County spokesman Dan Kulin said the fire occurred about 3:45 p.m. at 345 Steelhead Lane.
No people were injured. A cat died in the blaze. The fire remained under investigation Sunday night.
