Arizona authorities identify crash victim

KINGMAN, Ariz. -- The woman killed Sunday in a two-vehicle collision in northwest Arizona has been identified by the Department of Public Safety.

Authorities said Leann J. Armstrong, 27, of Scottsdale, Ariz., died at the scene of the 1:07 p.m. accident north of Wikieup, Ariz.

Agency spokesman Bart Graves said Armstrong was driving south on U.S. 93 when she lost control of her Chrysler sedan and sideswiped a guardrail. Her vehicle slid into the northbound traffic lane and was struck by an oncoming Dodge sedan.

Two passengers from the Dodge sedan were treated at a hospital. The highway was closed for several hours.
