Police seek man in beating of 65-year-old woman

Las Vegas police are looking for a man who severely beat a 65-year-old woman and took her car this afternoon in a neighborhood near Smoke Ranch Road and Buffalo Drive.

Police said the man, in his late 20s, drove off in the woman's silver 2008 Infiniti G35 with Nevada license plate number 807KPC.

Anybody with information on the suspect's whereabouts is urged to call the department's robbery section at 828-3591 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 385-5555.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
