Southern Nevada authorities arrest suspect in slaying in '04
A 28-year-old man wanted in connection with a slaying at an Oakland, Calif., nightclub in 2004 was arrested this week by a task force comprised of local police agencies and the FBI.
The man, Jetsae Martinez, was arrested as he left a Las Vegas residence about 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Criminal Apprehension Team, or CAT, which includes the Metropolitan Police Department, the Henderson Police Department and the FBI.
The team developed leads as to Martinez's possible aliases and his whereabouts.
Martinez is accused of shooting someone in the head after a fight in the nightclub.
He is being held at the Clark County Detention Center.

Arizona man gets nine years for drunken driving death
A nine-year prison term was given Friday to a Bullhead City, Ariz., man who was held responsible for the death of his fiancee in a single vehicle traffic crash in October 2008.
Benjamin Bowers, 23, drove home while drunk after partying at a Laughlin casino lounge before crashing when he lost control of his speeding vehicle in Bullhead City.
At the time of the crash, just five days before Halloween, witnesses saw Bowers dressed as Spiderman as he ran from the scene, leaving behind critically injured Sheena Marie Nancy Debevec. The 22-year-old died of her injuries at a Las Vegas hospital eight hours later.
Bowers was arrested at his home a little more than a mile from the crash scene. He was convicted of manslaughter, extreme drunken driving and attempted leaving the scene of an accident involving death.

Records related to celebrity burglary ring revealed in LV
Court records identify a 19-year-old Las Vegas woman as the leader of a burglary ring suspected of a series of break-ins at celebrities' homes in Los Angeles.
Search warrant records obtained Friday in Las Vegas show that police seized photos of Paris Hilton, designer jeans, computers, a Korean passport and 204 $100 bills when they arrested Rachel Lee at a northwest Las Vegas home Oct. 22.
Records show Lee was released the same day after posting $3,000 bail. Criminal charges have not been filed.
Las Vegas police told a judge that Lee was the mastermind of a ring accused of burglarizing the Hollywood Hills homes of celebrities including Audrina Partridge, Lindsay Lohan, Orlando Bloom and the Hilton family.
