Priorities: WSJ blogger tweaks AP’s

James Taranto posted a blog item on the "Best of the Web" blog at The Wall Street Journal (scroll down to "Accountability Journalism") that provides a telling insight into the workings of some media minds.

He counted the number of reporters The Associated Press assigned to fact check Sarah Palin's book, "Going Rogue," and the number assigned to report on the two 2,000-page health care reform bills in the House and Senate.

Palin book: 11 — 39 pages each.

ObamaCare: 2 — 2,032 pages each.

One is about a person who once ran for vice president. The other about the future of American health care with implications about the very nature of the American republic.
