• Roughin' It: The Art Institute of Las Vegas is sponsoring a four-day fashion camp June 22-25 for high school students interested in learning more about careers in fashion. The camp is designed around a fast-paced curriculum to give participants exposure to a variety of jobs within the growing fashion and retail management industry. • Stellar Salon: Globe Salon, a locally owned hair and skin care salon, has been named second runner-up in the nationwide Salon of the Year competition. The results appear in the June issue of "Salon Today." Globe Salon is located downtown in the Las Vegas Arts District.
