The Obama administration and Congress are looking for ways to pay for a major overhaul of the U.S. health care system that would provide health insurance to all Americans. One idea being considered is a new federal tax on soda and other sugary drinks. Although critics blast the idea of such a tax, others argue that it makes sense since sodas and sugary drinks play a role in America's rising health care bills by increasing the risk of obesity, diabetes and other ailments.
