MUSIC: Sex In Your City

They’re in it for the money, and really, you should go ahead and give them some already. After all, you’re not going to get too many more chances to see the Sex Pistols ever again.
Playing their only U.S. show for the summer Saturday night at The Joint at the Hard Rock, the Pistols will take aim at grace, refinement, polite sensibilities, etc.
If you thought they were attitudinal back in ’77, just imagine how cranky these fiftysomethings are going to be now that they can’t sleep through the night without getting up and going to bathroom three times.
Their tunes are awesomely dirt-simple – thee chords and a cloud of dust – so they should still be able to bash ‘em out with sufficient gusto.
And who could ever grow tired of hearing Johnny Rotten snarl like a leopard with its tail caught in a car door?
Not us.
Over 30 years after issuing their still smokin’ debut, “Never Mind The Bollocks,” these dudes have gone gray without growing old.
See the band at 8 p.m. Saturday at The Joint, 4321 W. Flamingo. Tickets are $50; call
Check out the R-J on Monday for a review of the show.
