Never a Dull Moment

It turned out not to be an endless summer after all, but it was fun while it lasted for youngsters who participated in our vacation project.

We sent them disposable cameras to show us how they spent their summer, and gave them the option to submit additional photos if the fun warranted it.

There are many beach and pool photos, which makes sense. When you live in a desert, nothing is more appealing than water.

Some kids headed for the hills in search of adventure and cooler temperatures.

But, whatever they did, it's clear they did it with a smile.
