Fitzgerald student wins accounting firm’s annual art contest

Luz Guerrero, a pupil at Fitzgerald Elementary School in North Las Vegas, was named the winner of Johnson Jacobson Wilcox's annual art contest.

The art contest was open to the school's pupils in third, fourth and fifth grade. The children were asked to illustrate why they are proud to be Americans.

Luz, who will be a fifth-grader this fall, was awarded art supplies, and her design was used for the accounting firm's annual Fourth of July cards. The firm also donated $5,000 to the school.
