Bank workshop will address mortgage modifications
March 6, 2012 - 2:02 am
Wells Fargo Bank is holding a free workshop March 21 for homeowners who are challenged in making their mortgage payments.
More than 50 representatives from the bank will be available for consultation from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at LVH-Las Vegas, 3000 Paradise Road.
Wells Fargo will make every effort to keep people in their homes through the government's Home Affordable Modification Program and through the bank's own loan modification programs, spokesman Tony Timmons said. Many borrowers will receive loan modification decisions or other options on site, he said.
From January 2009 through December 2011, Wells Fargo modified 728,024 mortgage loans.
