Big Lots opening 10th valley store in Centennial Gateway
Big Lots will open a new store Friday in Las Vegas .
The store is at 7781 W. Tropical Ave. in Centennial Gateway.
About 50 people were hired for the new store, which is the 10th in the Las Vegas Valley.
During opening day ceremonies, Big Lots' district manager will make a donation of $2,500 to Dean Allen Elementary School. School Principal Gary Prince will accept the check on behalf of the school.
Big Lots is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Its shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange. It has more than 1,450 stores in 48 states and over 80 Liquidation World and LW stores in Canada.
