Canada-based PigOut Catering plans Las Vegas expansion

Meat fans in Las Vegas will receive another option as Canada-based PigOut Catering and its spinning whole-roasted pigs are coming in Las Vegas.

PigOut is a mobile catering service that offers a 16-foot trailer, which includes the oversized roaster, walk-in refrigerator and preparation space. The spinning pigs can feed 20 to 10,000 people at events such as fundraisers, corporate events, private parties or weddings.

Owners Alan and Anne Dickson have had their eye on the Las Vegas market, which will be the first market in Nevada to have the spinning roasted pigs. The brand is looking to expand in the U.S and has seven locations in Ontario, Canada.

The company plans to have five to seven units in the Las Vegas area within the next few years.

"We knew that we needed to move where there's demand year-round, and Las Vegas is the perfect place for us," said Anne Dickson, the founder. The Dicksons emigrated from Scotland in 2007, bringing the PigOut catering concept to North America.

The Dicksons are also looking to expand in Florida, Texas and Louisiana.

The Dicksons are looking for franchisees. Total franchise costs can range from $96,850 to $144,700.
