Give it up: Underage gambler forced to forfeit slot jackpot

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — State police say a New York man had to forfeit a slot machine jackpot at a casino in eastern Pennsylvania because he wasn’t legally old enough to gamble.
Troopers at the Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem didn’t reveal the size of the jackpot won — briefly — Wednesday.
Police say a photo on the identification card provided by Rong Lin, of Fresh Meadows, N.Y. didn’t match his appearance when he was trying to collect his winnings. After further investigation, casino officials and police determined Lin was only 20. The state’s legal gambling age is 21.
Instead, police say they cited Lin for underage gambling.
The citation has not been listed in online court records and Lin could not otherwise be located for comment Thursday.
