Shuffle Master CEO tapped for AGA board

Shuffle Master Chief Executive Officer Gavin Isaacs was elected to the board of directors of the American Gaming Association, the industry's Washington D.C.-based trade organization.

In addition, Adam Rosenberg, global head of the gaming group for Goldman Sachs, was named a director.

Isaacs, who has more than 12 years of gaming industry experience, was named CEO of Shuffle Master Inc. in April .

Before joining Shuffle Master, he served for five years as Bally Technologies' chief operating officer and several positions at Aristocrat Leisure Ltd.

The association board also announced it will induct University of Nevada, Reno professor William Eadington into the Gaming Hall of Fame at ceremonies in Las Vegas in November. Induction into the Gaming Hall of Fame is the industry's highest honor.

This year's other Hall of Fame inductees include Las Vegas Sands Corp. Chairman and CEO Sheldon Adelson; chef Charlie Palmer; and the Blue Man Group.
