Tropicana promotes Rodio president of parent company

ATLANTIC CITY -- Tony Rodio, president of the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City, has been promoted to president of the casino's parent company.

Rodio is now president and chief operating officer of Tropicana Entertainment Inc.

He will continue to run the Atlantic City casino.

Rodio formerly ran the Resorts and Atlantic City Hilton casinos in Atlantic City, as well as the Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, Ind.

The Las Vegas-based Tropicana Entertainment owns or operates eight casinos and resorts in Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, and New Jersey.
