China U.S. Business Summit will come to Las Vegas in May

The China U.S. Business Summit will head to Las Vegas after wrapping up a three-day event in Los Angeles in the beginning of May.

The summit was launched in 2010 to connect small- to midsized businesses and executives in the United States and China.

The event will open May 3 with a dinner at the Palazzo from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Gov. Brian Sandoval and Mayor Carolyn Goodman are scheduled to appear at the event, which will also include presentations from the Nevada Development Authority and the Southern Nevada Industrial Foundation.

According to a statement issued by the summit, the event is designed to encourage opportunities for business in both countries to work together and discuss investment opportunities.

Tickets to the dinner are $100 for individuals, $1,000 for a 10-top table and $2,000 for sponsors who want to give a three-to-five minute business presentation.
