THIS WEEK'S BUSINESS PRESS POLL QUESTION

Log onto the Las Vegas Business Press Web site and let us hear your opinion on this week's question.

The Christmas Day attempt to blow up a Northwest Airlines jet as it landed in Detroit has raised new concerns about security efforts to prevent terrorist attacks on U.S. airlines. The failed bombing attempt by alleged terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab comes more than nine years after the devastating Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and just as the United States is beginning to emerge from the deepest recession in more than 60 years. Airline travel to Las Vegas has been down for more than a year but has begun to pick up the past two months.

Are you concerned that this latest terrorism attempt could discourage travelers and conventioneers from visiting Las Vegas in the new year?
