COMING IN THIS WEEK’S LAS VEGAS BUSINESS PRESS

TO ERR IS ... NORMAL: Local businesspeople describe some of the biggest mistakes of their careers, how they handled them and what they learned from them.

REAL ESTATE: Valley apartment rentals inched higher in the second quarter, as consumers stayed thrifty with unemployment high. Colliers International reports that multifamily vacancies fell to 8 percent at the end of June, or a half-percent less than the first quarter.

THEY'RE HIP, THEY FLIP: Amie and Scott Yancey have succeeded as real estate entrepreneurs and reality television stars. The A&E show, "Flipping Vegas" follows them as they buy, renovate and sell homes. Conflicts may arise -- usually over renovation budgets -- but the end result is a beautiful home and money in their pockets.

EXECUTIVE SNAPSHOT: Cord Blood America Chief Executive Officer Matthew Schissler discusses why he sees Las Vegas as a future hub for biotechnology and describes trips with his wife in search of adventure.
