Event planned to give companies more information on doing business with Clark County

Local companies interested in doing business with Clark County have an opportunity to learn more at a county event on Wednesday.

County staff will be available to meet with local business representatives from 9 a.m. to noon in the rotunda of the Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway, Las Vegas. The event, called “Meet Your Customer Day,” is open to all businesses. It’s part of the county’s efforts to reach out to a variety of companies, including those that are small or owned by minorities, women, disabled, or veterans.

County staff will help businesses sign up for the county’s supplier registration database, which notifies businesses of potential opportunities.

The event will have representatives from entities that include University Medical Center, the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada and the Nevada Small Business Development Center’s Business Success Center.

No advance registration is required before the event. For more information, call (702) 455-4432 or (702) 455-3092.
