First of ‘November Nine’ wins championship bracelet at Series

Matt Jarvis of Vancouver, British Columbia, became the first member of last year's "November Nine" to win a championship bracelet at the 2011 World Series of Poker.
Jarvis, won the $5,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em Six-Handed event, taking home $808,538 and his first gold bracelet.
Last year, Jarvis reached the final table of nine players and finished eighth at the World Series of Poker's $10,000 buy-in World Championship No Limit Hold'em Main Event, winning more than $1 million.
Jarvis beat a field of 732 players for his bracelet Sunday, the fifth title won by a Canadian at this year's World Series of Poker, the most by any country other than the U.S. Justin Filtz of Stevens Point, Wi., finished second to Jarvis, winning $499,855.
