Free workshop will cover licensing for contractors
The Nevada State Contractors Board is offering a free workshop on applying for contractors' licenses. Licensees who want to change their license may also attend.
The workshop will be held Jan. 25, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at 2310 Corporate Circle, Suite 200, in Henderson.
Participants will receive information to help them complete applications quickly and accurately. Applications can be reviewed by staff before submission.
The state of Nevada requires that all contractors be licensed. This includes plumbers, painters, landscapers, electricians, roofers and pool companies.
