Las Vegas’ most anticipated openings in 2016 — POLL

With all the retail and restaurants in development for Las Vegas, asking our Facebook followers to choose which they're most excited to have open next year seemed like a difficult task, as many couldn't chose just one.

After tallying all the comments and likes, there was one "new" chain that proved to garner the most support — Chick-Fil-A.

Russ Cambria commented, "Chick-Fil-A BABY!! Within 2-3 years there needs to be 15 locations in this city! Aliante, Summerlin, Centenniel Hills, South Point, just to name a few spots."

Trailing right on the heels of the chicken sandwich legend was Swedish home furnishing favorite Ikea. There were also quite a few cheers of excitement from fans of burger joint Wahlburger's.

Rounding out the list was Guy Fieri's new restaurant at the Rio hotel-casino, El Burro Borracho, which saw mentions from five people. There was no mention for Gordon Ramsay's new Fish & Chips spot, which is slated to open at the Linq next summer.

There were some suggestions for places that haven't announced any plans to expand to Las Vegas. A few people liked Kassie Corso Benoit's recommendation, "We need a Texas Roadhouse, a Friendly's, and a Waffle House!"

The federal funds rate is the rate at which banks borrow and lend to one another. While the rates consumers pay to borrow money aren’t directly linked to this rate, shifts affect what you pay for credit cards, auto loans, mortgages, and other financial products.
