Las Vegas plumbing, air-conditioning company suspends operations

Interstate Plumbing & Air Conditioning LLC, a multi-state operator based in Las Vegas, on Monday suspended most of its operations because of financial problems.

G2 Capital Advisors LLC, a national restructuring firm that has been advising the company, announced the suspension of operations, except for some ongoing projects.

Interstate Plumbing, which has 300 employees, provides plumbing and HVAC installation for new homes and commercial buildings. The company is licensed in Nevada, Arizona, California and Utah. The company did not say how the suspension would affect its employees.

"We feel compelled to suspend operations of Interstate Plumbing & Air Conditioning to minimize the potential exposure to our valued customers and suppliers," the G2 Capital statement said.
