Las Vegas ranks seventh on college affordability ranking
Las Vegas is ranked as the seventh most affordable college town in the country, the Coldwell Banker 2011 College Home Listing Report shows.
A three-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Las Vegas, home of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, had an average listing price of $124,955.
Memphis, Tenn., ranked as the country's most affordable college market where the average three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is listed at just $89,244.
Los Angeles topped the list as most expensive, at $1.3 million.
The report found almost two-thirds of the analyzed college markets have an average listing price of less than $200,000 for subject homes.
