Old Dominion Freight Line Inc. has relocated its Las Vegas Service Center to a new, larger facility to keep up with increased regional freight.
The 60-door terminal is on a 10-acre site at 4550 East Cheyenne Ave. and employs 43 people. The new location will allow Old Dominion to take advantage of Las Vegas' market for trade show and expedited freight, officials said in a statement.
"Old Dominion has maintained a presence in Las Vegas for about 10 years, and our business has grown ever since," said Jason Garrison, the terminal's manager, said .
Old Dominion will offer direct service from the terminal to nearby cities, including North Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, Indian Springs, Mountain Pass, Sloan, Jean and Primm.
