BANKING

Stephanie Cantu has been named assistant vice president and client service manager at City National Bank. She is in the branch at 6085 W. Twain Ave., Las Vegas.

CONSTRUCTION

Kerry Cartmill has joined TWC Construction as a senior manager. He moves from Principia Construction in Colorado where he was vice president of operations and marketing. At TWC, he will be involved in project management and client development.

Kevin French has been named a senior supervising traffic engineer in the Las Vegas office of Parsons Brinckerhoff. The firm is a global engineering and construction management consultant.

LAW

Matthew Smith, Kristine O’Quinn, Logan Pratt, Candace Herling, Sarah Yance, Edward Silverman and John Newton joined Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen &Sanders as associate attorneys. The defense of premise liability, products liability, transportation law, professional liability, insurance bad faith and medical malpractice matters are among the areas of law Smith, O’Quinn, Herling, Yance and Silverman will discuss. Pratt focuses his practice on bankruptcy and corporate law; Newton handles workers’ compensation claims and administrative hearings.

Kamer Zucker Abbott named Jen J. Sarafina and R. Todd Creer as partners in the firm. Sarafina and Creer represent employers in all facets of labor and employment law.

NONPROFIT

Aid for AIDS of Nevada appointed Nikki Ferraro as the new board of trustees president for a two-year term after previously serving as vice president. Marek Bute, who has served for the past two years, will step into the vice president role. AFAN also announced Richard Hudock, public relations manager at Wynn Las Vegas, as a new board member.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

MassMedia received two PR Agency Elite Awards and three honorable mentions during the PR News 2014 PR Agency Elite Awards. Hosted annually by PR News, a leading industry trade publication, the PR Agency Elite Awards recognize the top public relations agencies in different practice groups.

Tami Belt, owner of Blue Cube Marketing Solutions, was honored as a Distinguished Woman in Nevada for 2014 in recognition of her professional and civic achievements in public relations. Belt, a Las Vegas native, founded Blue Cube Marketing Solutions in 2002 to transform the way companies approach communication strategy and community engagement.

REAL ESTATE

Cushman &Wakefield | Commerce named Natalie Wainwright as an associate and will focus on office leasing and sales for landlords and tenants in the Las Vegas Valley. Her primary responsibilities will involve locating prospective clients, building relationships with landlords and tenants. Wainwright first joined the company as an administrative assistant gaining background knowledge in listing coordination, leasing and sales.

Colliers International – Las Vegas hired Anthony Schettler as an administrative assistant. He will work with the Schettler team in the land division, by providing day-to-day operational support.

Diana Bachmura has been promoted to director of research and marketing at Gatski Commercial Real Estate. She joined the firm in 2011 as a leasing assistant in the brokerage division and later became marketing coordinator. In her new role, she will oversee economic and market data.
