The National Credit Union Administration has sued Perry and Fay Chamani over a deficiency on a $1.9 million loan that was foreclosed in November.
The deficiency's size wasn't disclosed.
Ensign Federal Credit Union made the loan to Habitat Center II in 2007. The Chamanis and a company, Environmental Landscape Inc., guaranteed the loan.
Perry Chamani was president of Environmental Landscape, which has dissolved, according to the Nevada secretary of state. He was also managing member of Habitat Center II, which also has dissolved, the secretary of state said.
Ensign Federal Credit Union was seized by federal regulators in November 2009. The loan was secured by real estate near Rancho Drive and Donnie Avenue.
The administration is seeking a judgment for an unspecified amount of damages.
The Chamanis could not be reached for comment.
