Ralenkotter probably will get raise plus 30 percent bonus

Rossi Ralenkotter, president and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, probably will receive a 4 percent pay raise and a 30 percent pay-for-performance bonus, starting July 1.

The travel board's compensation committee approved the recommendation Tuesday. The pay increase goes into effect July 1, if approved by the travel authority's board of directors at its June 12 meeting.

The raise would bring Ralenkotter's annual base salary of $266,178 to $276,825. The 30 percent pay-for-performance incentive, if approved, would pull the CEO's total pay up to $359,872 for fiscal 2013.

Clark County Commissioner Tom Collins, as the committee chair, initially suggested a 50 percent incentive. Committee members Chuck Bowling, of Mandalay Bay, Henderson Mayor Andy Hafen and Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Kristin McMillan favored 30 percent.
