Billboard company claims comedian Wallace owes them nearly $14,000
Comedian George Wallace is involved in another lawsuit in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas Billboards LLC claims Wallace owes the company nearly $14,000 for outdoor advertising and late fees.
The company filed a lawsuit against Wallace on March 7 in District Court.
Wallace said he has not been served with the lawsuit, and he declined to comment on its allegations.
According to the complaint, Las Vegas Billboards and Wallace entered into a written contract in April 2012 in which the company agreed to provide outdoor advertising for the comedian, a headliner at the Flamingo.
The lawsuit claims Wallace has failed to pay $10,500 for the advertising, plus about $3,200 in late fees and other damages.
Las Vegas Billboards also is seeking attorneys’ fees and costs, and nearly $1,300 in interest. The company is represented by attorney Michael Mazur.
Wallace is also suing Bellagio after he was injured during a private corporate performance there in December 2007. His Achilles tendon ruptured after he said his foot became entangled in loose electrical wires on the stage. Wallace, 61, is seeking millions of dollars in damages from the resort for lost earnings, pain and suffering and medical expenses.
