Silver State Schools Credit Union opens eastern Las Vegas branch
Silver State Schools Credit Union opened its newest branch at 2256 S. Nellis Boulevard in the Winterwood Pavilion Shopping Center on May 28.
The new location, called Winterwood, is near the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Nellis Boulevard and will serve eastern Las Vegas.
“Winterwood is located within three miles of over 50 schools, in a high traffic area only a few miles east of the (U.S.) 95 freeway,” Andy Hunter, credit union CEO, said in a statement. “The new branch allows SSSCU to improve its ability to better serve members and their financial needs.”
The Winterwood Branch has five teller stations, a walk-up ATM and coin machine.
Artwork from past Happy Times Calendar winners is on display throughout the branch as well as art from students at nearby Stanford Elementary School. A community wall in the vestibule encourages members to share community news and information with fellow members.
The branch is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
