Sports bar-restaurant at the Palms shut down

Heraea, a heavily marketed sports bar and restaurant built by the One Group in a partnership with the Palms, has closed, according to a statement Thursday by the off-Strip hotel.

“Palms casino resort and Heraea Vegas have decided to end their partnership at Heraea with the Palms taking over management of the space,” the Palms said in a statement. “Palms expects to reopen the restaurant soon.”

Heraea opened in February as part of $50 million in renovations to the Palms. The hybrid restaurant and nightclub replaced the hotel’s margarita and taco restaurant, Garduno’s.

“Palms wishes Heraea Vegas and The One Group the best of luck,” the statement said.
