Personal electronics aren't just for personal use anymore, with more workers having to remain in touch with their bosses and coworkers via phone or e-mail. But not all companies are footing the bill for the electronic gadgets their workers are using. USA Today reports that about 40 percent of all professionals buy their own laptops and smart phones because their companies won't pay for the kind of equipment they want.
