Tide Dry Cleaners plans opening ceremony

Tide Dry Cleaners of Agile Pursuits Franchising Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Procter & Gamble, plans a ceremony on Friday at its new location at 10010 W. Sahara Ave.

The event will include remarks from a representative of a chamber of commerce and the presentation of an award by a staff member from the office of Rep. Joe Heck, R-Nev.

There’s also a grand opening celebration Saturday when the store opens from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“We are excited to bring Tide Dry Cleaners quality, service and care to a second location in Las Vegas,” general manager Rickie David said in a statement. “Customers will find that we go above and beyond what other dry cleaners offer in unique services and best-in-class customer service.”

The store will employ between 12 and 16 people.
