Henderson man arrested in fatal stabbing of ex-girlfriend
A 59-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the fatal stabbing of his ex-girlfriend, Henderson police said.
Gary D. Gaston of Henderson was booked into the city jail on charges of murder with a deadly weapon and burglary with a deadly weapon.
The victim's identity was not released.
Police said Gaston went to his ex-girlfriend's home on Rising Brook Drive about 4:45 p.m. and stabbed her.
When police arrived at the home, Gaston was there. Police said he admitted to the stabbing.
Police did not say how they were notified about the 43-year-old woman's injuries. She died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center about 5:30 p.m.
Her name will be released by the Clark County coroner's office.
